MN Sales Tax Presentation - Taxation of Labor Charges

As previously noted, LFC will be conducting various presentations during the months of May & June.  One particular presentation will be on Minnesota Sales taxes.  Minnesota's sale tax is challenging particularly when dealing with labor charges.  It is important to know the distinctions between the types of labor in order to assess whether it is taxable or not according to the Minnesota Department of Revenue.  Here are the main categories of labor:

• Installation Labor
• Repair Labor
• Fabrication Labor
• Construction Labor
