Impact of Surcharge on the 'Wealthy'

The Heritage Foundation has a post on the impact of the 5.4% surcharge proposed by Charles Rangle (Chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee) on the wealthiest income earners. Because of the out-of-control federal budget from the stimulus plan, Omnibus Bill, and now the potential federal take-over of our nation's health care system, increases in taxes are being proposed by the Democratic-controlled Congress to pay for it all.
