How fast will firms hire when economy recovers?

The Economist has an interesting article on when firms will hire once the economy recovers. It is a good analysis of what may be lingering unemployment even after the ecomomy has improved. Immediate improvements in growth will not necessarily translate into firms hiring again. At least in the short run. It appears the US economy may be sattled with higher levels of unemployment than it experienced during the last 20 years or so. Click here for the details.
